75-minute class focused on the therapeutic poses and movements of Yoga. We finish the class with a 15-minute relaxation and meditation practice. Participants learn the 7 points of postural alignment in the body, and how to create alignment integrity in all movement, poses, and transitions. We also do a detailed breakdown and teaching of basic yoga poses including standing, balancing, twists, seated floor poses, and lying floor poses. We use hands on assists and props to ensure that each student is working at the appropriate level and receiving optimum benefit in the pose.
